Lamentations

2 Chronicles 35:25 states that Jeremiah composed sad songs about the death of King Josiah; these songs were recorded in the Book of Laments and were still sung by choirs after the Babylonian captivity. But the Songs of Lamentations are about the destruction of Jerusalem in 586 B.C. and its aftermath. Jeremiah was obviously a very gifted individual.
